How to play
- Players
- 2 to 4
- To win a round
- complete the pizza: 12 slices
- The deck
- 48 cards: green +1 (6), +2 (12) and +3 (6); red −1, −2 and −3 (2 each); black ±4, ±5, ±6 and ±7 (4 each); one On the house card and one Double order card
The pizza. There is a 12-slice pizza in the centre of the table, and every player wants all of it.
Cards. Green cards add slices and red cards take them away. A black card does either: say which as you play it.
A turn. Each player holds 4 cards. Play one, say the sum out loud, then pick one from the deck. The game starts with a green card, or a black card played to add slices.
Limits. The pizza can never have fewer than 0 slices or more than 12.
Score. Whoever completes the 12 slices wins the round and scores one point for every card in the centre. Winning early scores less.
Next round. Shuffle every card that is not in a player's hand and begin again. Play until you are full.
Double order. When this card is played, the round needs 24 slices.
On the house. If the player who plays it completes the pizza in that round, they score double. If someone else completes it, the card is wasted.
Two ways to play. Simple: keep your 4 cards in your hand. Challenge: lay them face up for everyone to see, so you have to plan ahead, and a completed pizza scores double.
